The .africa domains reach the expiration date and enter the Pending Suspension Phase. This phase lasts a total of 5 days. During the 5 days, the domain name may be renewed, after which they proceed to a redemption period for 20 days before they are finally queued for deletion by the registry. If you have a .africa domain, you must renew it on/before the expiry date to avoid redemption or loss of internet identity.
